Creativity, to me, is a celebration of curiosity and the sheer joy found in the process. We are all born with an innate desire to create, yet life’s journey often obscures this fundamental truth.
I have been fortunate to be fully aware of my heightened sense of colours and sounds since I can remember. However, it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I began expressing myself through art. My journey into painting was especially serendipitous, sparked by a recurring dream where colours effortlessly danced in the water.
Perhaps it’s my rebellious nature that silenced the naysayers of my talents. Having artistic DNA in my bloodline, with a couple of highly successful architects, likely played a role too.
